Why isn't Arrowhead simply downloading more server space?

do we know who there server provider is?    I got the impression it wasn't one of the big boys: azure or AWS.

I think we would have passed 380k yesterday if the servers didn't blow up.  

I'll say 450k unless they blow which they will.

Wonder if its all time peak will be next week because there sure seems to be lots of demand. It's limited by server capacity more than anything else.

peaking next weekend wouldn't be too surprising especially for a title that seems to be selling on word of mouth.  

I got a few hours in last night.  it's amazing how fast the time goes playing this.

Only 15% of people guessed above 100k, and it is pretty well on track to quadruple that. Maybe quintuple that if issues get resolved.

I love unexpected successes and I love seeing people get proven wrong.

More servers does not equate to more capacity. Many times we need to scale up different portions based on cost analysis, physical restrictions, and predictions as well.

so 409k on steam.  basically a million including PS5.    

...so what are we thinking.  5 million units sold doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
