FTC is appealing.

And it sounds like the CMA is likely to review the case. Might be October before it finishes...

How is that even possible?

It's a good sign that the FTC isn't giving up on the fight, but they can't appeal a temporary injunction for a past event. Would need another restraining order issued pronto.

Maybe it's just politics so they can carry forward with the full case later.

So much for case by case basis.
I've always known Spencer is a fraud

QuoteNow that the FTC is choosing to appeal Judge Corley's decision, the regulator needs the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to issue an emergency stay to extend the existing temporary restraining order (TRO) that is set to expire at 11:59PM PT on Friday, July 14th. It's not clear if the appeals court will even rule before the deal deadline on July 18th, potentially leaving the door open for Microsoft to close the Activision Blizzard deal on Monday or Tuesday without a restraining order in place.

FTC to appeal

I don't think anyone knows what is going on with the CMA stuff.

Not activision but kinda feels relevant in how stupid MS thinks they are gonna offset 10 million in sales for starfield and Indiana jones with gamepass and increased hardware. Not happening MS. I don't see any world where they offset that lost revenue with people just subbing to gamepass

https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2023/07/13/starfield-indiana-jones-ps5-sales-forecast/

Projected sales I should say

Tbh I feel starfield would have sold way more than 10 million lifetime on ps5. Especially if it's as good as everyone hopes
