The Competition Appeal Tribunal has scheduled a Microsoft / CMA case management conference for July 17th "to consider the application made jointly by all parties to adjourn these proceedings pending further discussions between the CMA and Microsoft."

Stuff is happening pretty quickly now...

It's feeling like it'll either be done on Monday or it'll be a couple of months. But at this rate, I don't foresee the deal getting blocked unfortunately.

Is this forever? A decade from now it could be pretty major.

The more Phil talks, the more I dislike him. Stop acting like you're doing this for gamers!

I hope Sony take their aces from them. I would love Sony to create a their own modern warfare "clone" for PC and PS and half the CoD userbase. It "only" has to have enough familiarity of CoD but different enough to be fresh and give people a reason to switch. It's doable but a very tall order. Would take a lot of time, resources and money.

No talk about a 10 year agreement so that's a good sign hopefully that's it's a forever deal. Or at least till MS changes the name of call of duty or some other shady shame that I'm sure they could try and pull

Remember when Sony made MAG? Why did they give up on that so easy? Looked so promising. Warhawk was amazing back in day. 2 games Sony gave up on (Warhawk may of had some sort of sequel in Starhawk) and if they built upon them, they could of been the leader in online shooters instead of... well now MS.

Yeah Sony killed that studio. Socom could have really grown with the right commitment, and unit 13 was fun.

(without context it looks like a modern steam asset flip lol)

Sony really just needs to bring back Killzone and Resistance. Both were really good and unique.

I would love Killzone to come back. I really enjoyed the online on Killzone Shadowfall but more so on KZ3.

Jeez, if they bought back MAG, Warhawk, Killzone and resistance, they could have 4 vastly different multiplayers that could get decent followings. MAG being huge. Killzone pretty and heavy. Resistance seemed rough but fun and WarkHawk was basic and fun with dogfights above while people fought below.
