Quite a few bad reviews seem like fanboys.

Complaining about how the game seems like a Sony action adventure and not like a Square Enix JRPG.

Yes I noticed that too. Some perhaps valid complaints in there though but can't say for sure

I get the impression if you're a big fan of Final Fantasy you won't like it.

If you're a big fan of God of War, you will.

Final Fantasy 16 is No.1 this week in the UK, but as boxed launches go, it wasn’t a particularly strong one. Physical sales are 74% lower than the launch week of Final Fantasy 15 in 2016. Obviously, digital is a much much bigger component of sales today. That data comes later

I think it'll push it quite a bit but obviously it's a bit "priced in" because people have been expecting the game for a long time
