Been over a month but I went back into Infra again. I'm enjoying it a fair amount and it's very much the game I was hoping it was, just with worse voice acting.

@SWORDF1SH is this your first immersive sim like game? It's maybe a bit too linear but it's scratching that itch for me.

Wow! I was certain you wouldn't get into it after your first impressions lol. Yeah voice acting sucks but loved so much about Infra?

Yeah it is. The characters, dialogue and voice acting are soooo good.

Lol I just realised you may not of been talking about Disco Elysium. So yeah, my reply to the second quote was for DE. I presume you were still talking about Infra. I got confused with the "sim like" and read "sims like" because of the style of DE.

Dr. Pezus

I randomly got the platinum trophy in rocket league yesterday when playing with my nephew without really trying to. But it's been a few years since I first played lol

Infra is the rare game that's pretty low quality yet still has interesting ideas. Early on I dismissed it as a cheap russian asset flip.

Yeah disco elysium probably isn't an immersive sim lol, although nowadays so many random games claim to be. On steam the tag is practically worthless and even games like Tacoma included 0451 as a passcode.

Tags on Steam are so bad. Even when they suggest similar games to the game you're browsing is well off.

Horizon

Jedi Survivor. It's an excellent game and I have put 31 hours in so far. If they can fix the technical issues people are having they'll see their is GOTY contender. I've not had many issues playing on quality though.

Finished Logic - Keypad and it's another game I liked probably more than it had right to lol. I really loved some of the puzzle ideas but not implemented in the best way. It seems, unsurprisingly, a common theme in these low budget games but what the game lacked in puzzle implementation it made up for in creativity that improved over the 3 levels. I would buy Logic - Keypad 2 if ever released to see how it improves.

Woa I hadn't realized you were talking about such an obscure game: Logic - Keypad on Steam

Pretty sure I saw it before but dismissed it. Cool that it had creative ideas.

Maybe I need to recommend more obscure games to you, like Totem and Sethian. On that note how's 7 days to end with you? Still not liking it lol?

Just bought Dredge. Looks really good. Has anybody seen much on it?

Will check those out. I actually do like 7 Days but after initial play I've had no urge to play it. I think I need to be in the mood for it.

Played Number 217721 and it sucks. Runs like crud and has game breaking bugs. It's a good looking walking sim puzzle game but within minutes of playing I left the game and when I returned, the items that I picked up disappeared. £2.49 so what did I expect.  Refund requested

You win some and you lose some.

BTW I finished Infra a few days ago. Pretty interesting. I didn't bother reading anything so some puzzles were pretty hard lol. Wish the game was open world or something because while I loved a lot of the exploration and problem solving, it sucked not knowing which path was optional and which was mandatory.

I know what you mean.  I also like to make sure I've explored everything before moving on.

I watched a playthrough and it was funny seeing all the stuff I missed. Didn't know there were geocaches lol.

I'm glad you at least enjoyed Infra. I really liked it. What did you think of the factory puzzles? Working out the flow of all the pipes and how it operates? I really enjoyed those parts.

You completed the game in under 22 hours? dang I'm slow at these games. I spent over 50 hours on Infra!!!
