Quote from: BananaKing on Apr 27, 2023, 03:22 PMDoes this mean we will hear new news about the game soon?

Firesprite have been recruiting some really good racing people and they already had a bunch at the studio so hopefully that means it will play and handle well.

QuoteBluepoint is smaller than i expected tbh

They're a lot bigger now.

Housemarque is up to 110 now, up from 80 when they were acquired.

Quote"We understand the competitive environment that is out there, and the time investment from players that live services offer," Hulst tells us. "And we want to deliver the highest quality games.

"There is a risk that we talk about 'live service' in generic terms – as if it is a single genre, or even a single business model. PlayStation Studios are making a variety of games that could be referred to as 'live services', targeting different genres, different release schedules, and at different scales. We are also creating games for different audiences, and I take confidence from our track record in creating worlds and stories that PlayStation fans love."

QuoteSo what is it that PlayStation can offer? Tony Hsu, studio head at Firewalk, says the company has no plans to expand much beyond the 150 employees. But there are other benefits to being part of the PlayStation team.

That's interesting. I wonder if Housemarque and Bluepoint will be where Sucker Punch were at the start of the PS4 gen.

Quote from: ShinobiTo be clear, I don't know what Sony's exact plans are when it comes to a showcase or State of Plays and all that. But I know a good amount of teams are at a point where things are certainly ready to be shown. That's exciting.

Shinobi replied to me  ;D
