Down to 83 and no longer "mighty" on Opencritic. dang, and I thought TLOU2's slide from 96 to 93 post-launch was bad.

When even the PC version on metacritic is down to 88, you know it's having issues.

Metacritic console versions are both in the 50s with 13 and 6 reviews. Would have never predicted that.

It's a little jarring to see everyone open the door almost at the same moment.

QuoteHaha wow.

And this is just disappointing

It turns out in just 57 years, momentum will be a thing of the past.

I'm starting to get a bit tired of the game now, the bad stuff is really getting on my nerves.

My next story mission does say its the point of no return though, so I know I haven't got much left. Just finishing off the main side quest chains. It came as a big shock to me when it told me that, I didn't think I was anywhere near the end.

It means main story is incredibly short. I've got 30 hours in the game now, definitely less than 10 hours spent in story missions and I'm already at the point of no return, crazy. I did see one youtuber say the story was 11 hours for them in total, so seems about right. So about 11 hours, double that for a fair bit of side content, more like triple that if you do all the big side jobs, and then who knows how much more for all the gigs and full completion, but all that stuff is just super filler.

Also, Opencritic down to 82, PC meta down to 87. I wonder where it will end.

That PC meta score is looking more right now to me, if you fixed the games bugs and performance issues I think it deserves a mid-high 80s score. If you then added some QoL stuff, added AI for police, traffic etc. then it might be in a state deserving of a 90.

I'm near the end of my PS5 playthrough and for my scoring system I'm thinking high 70s for my experience on PS5 overall. I need to see the ending first, but if I still think high 70s I've gotta score it 77, obviously.

I need it to get to 84 so I'm the only one who predicted low enough. xD

I think ordinarily you'd be right. This case is so extraordinary with how CDPR covered up so much from Sony, MS and consumers.

The hype train didn't just implode in on itself. It took a children's hospital with it.

Even major CDPR fanboys are upset with them.

It was a mistake to limit prelaunch reviews. If every website was sent a PC copy and CDPR mentioned their would be a day 1 patch addressing bugs, the vast majority of reviews would have been 8+.

I think that's the crazy part. If none of the bugs existed, the game would have still received a sizable backlash. I can only imagine how troubled development was.

So many things are going wrong in this clip.

I hope I end up liking this game as much as I did Andromeda.

Lol that's so broken, but races are just as bad when they work. The AI is truly very special.

The AI are slow and fall back from you, so the game teleports them close to you so they keep up. Genuinely, teleports. You can see it on the minimap, the cars going backwards then reappearing. It doesn't teleport any into your field of view, so if you're looking behind it stops. However when it teleports them it often spawns them ontop of one another, so if you look back you constantly see the cars ontop of each other and in epic crashes, but then you look away and suddenly they're racing behind you again because the game teleported them back to you.

And they are constantly being teleported because the AI is slow, so so so slow. They don't really know how to corner well, they crash into things constantly. Its just awful.

I also had it one time when I was looking back to observe the mess, the game actually teleported an AI infront of me, losing me first place. It was near the end too, almost didn't win the race because of it.

I have no idea why they made a dedicated set of racing side missions and put them out in this state.

Well I finished Cyberpunk. Ending wasn't as crazy or emotional as I was thinking it would be, end of act 1 and start of act 2 is by far the highlight of the main story. Panam's side quests probably my favourite part of the game.

Finished in 35 hours, a bit longer than the current average on howlongtobeat.

fudgy lol, of course it crashed in the middle of the credits. Well, that's that.
