And here there are a couple cities an hour away that deliver out here.

So if it's an hour away in the morning, that's when I stop worrying.  

Yeah. My city isn't big but its big enough that it has its own warehouses and there's lots of deliveries to be made.

PS4 sold about 250k first week here, my home city is about 0.2% of UK population, so that's about 500 PS4s. So yeah, probably a few hundred PS5s will be delivered around me next thursday.

sumo and tarsier do good work when given a good project and a decent budget.   both have worked well with sony recently.  both would be good aquisitions (imo) to face the onslaught of MS acquisitions that has already happened and surely will continue to happen.

i also wish sony would buy FromSoftware.   that seems like something MS would buy just out of spite for sony to keep the souls games off their platform.

Distances are so big in America. I worry when a delivery of mine is still in any other city, even if its less than an hour drive.

My PS5 is over 1,000 miles away to put it into perspective.

independence would be ideal but MS has made their intensions clear.  they are going to buy out as much of the video game industry as they can to monopolize the industry.  sony really needs to be proactive about protecting their playstation brand.

So I guess if my ps5 doesn't ship then I'll just try my luck at getting one on Walmart online tomorrow.  Then just cancel my amazon one if I can. So at least I have one if I can't grab it at walmart

From Software would be difficult for MS:
- Japan's laws have protections against foreign acquisitions
- FS is owned by a media conglomerate.

got my tabs and accounts ready for walmart, best buy, and target.  Walmart has their times set for noon, 3, 6, and 9 tomorrow.  Hopefully some in store near me.   Target hopefully has theirs online ready at midnight like they did for series x and i can get one for a store around 40 miles from me.

DualSense just arrived. First impression of just the feel of it while off, its amazing!!

First off it just looks amazing, what a sexy piece of tech. The weight of it is great, its a fair bit heavier than DS4 which is perfect. It also fits into my hands much nicer. It feels a lot like an XB1 controller which just feels amazing to hold and clearly outclassed the dualshock 4, the Dualsense is now on par. The triggers feel a fair bit nicer than the dualshock and the shoulder bumpers are a big improvement. Analogue sticks are much nicer, they grip better and it feels like I have much more precise control, although that may just be due to so much use on my dualshocks.

So yeah, just awesome all round, can't wait to use this thing.
