I'm hoping Sony's is longer this year, it ended earlier least year and it was a bit of a bummer

As long as its full of quality content and not a bunch of talking it will be fine.  I can't see sony's being longer than normal because they've been going full steam just showing content and not talking as much to pad it out.

They just cut out the fat last year. Shawn Layden already said, that he won't be talking for more than 90 seconds for the entire conference this year and that the rest will be filled with games, so I doubt their show will be running much longer than last years.

And what good does a long conference do if, it's just filled with trash anyways? Ubisofts show last year was 2 hours long and the conference was garbage that was only made worse by how long it was. I see no reason to believe that MS has enough worthwile content to fill a 2 hour show, which is why I'm expecting a ton of unnessecary talking and fluff.
