I agree that September will be close. Forza won't give them the win, but it's at least a factor in their favor. October is good for PS but better for XBO. TLG will probably be better than Gears 4 but it'll certainly push less units at least in the launch month. Both games release on the 21st so legs don't matter that much. PSVR is expensive and I don't imagine a large amount of people will be buying it at launch who haven't already bought a PS4. Plus these people that have lots of money might be more inclined to wait for Pro just a month later.

September will be close but with the PS4 slim being $300, xbo with Forza Horizon 3 and their own $300 slim could still win.

October has psvr and tlg for Sony, but Xbo has Gears 4. Considering their recent momentum, it should be an easy Xbo win.

PS4 Slim boost > Xbox One S boost

October is open but September and November are side already.

Forza Horizon 3, as impressed as I was during E3, the past games didn't have much hardware moving power.

October is the best month the XB1 can win, but even that is up in the air because impressions of Gears 4 have been lukewarm, in general.

A lot about October pretty much depends on PSVR. I know they aren't taking any more pre-orders but I can't imagine them not preparing more stock for October, so if that somehow catches on even remotely like for instance Kinect did then the rest of the year and the forseeable future should be in the PS4s hands.

'Overwatch' (-42%) remains at the top for the second straight week, clocking up five crowns in total since its launch at the end of May.

It joins 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' and 'Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens' in having topped the charts five times in 2016 so far. There's little in the way of new releases this week, which means that former chart toppers 'F1 2016' (-48%) and 'Deus Ex: mankind: Divided' (-58%) each climb to No2 and No3 respectively. 'Lego Stars Wars: The Force Awakens' (-39%) climbs 4 places to No4 while 'Grand Theft Auto V' (-47%) is up a place to No5. The Top 10 is formed of largely familiar faces with only 'Doom' (-23%) at No9 breaking back in after a two week absence.
