Thomas Cormen.
He wrote Introduction to Algorithms.  It is like the book for algorithms. Everybody recommends it, tons of schools use it including MIT.

Because they are new, so mostly the former.
I thought the price difference was only like 15$, or something like that.  Can't find it at the moment.

Honestly the thing that is pissing me off, is how like 30 people are liking the comment, and only like 4 people are against it.
