Tried The Tomorrow Children. Didn't care for it. I don't mind games that are sandboxes but this game has almost no direction at all and horribly lacks in explanation for how things work and what your options are. There does not seem to be any easy way to play with your friends despite this being an online game. DD and I were in the same dang town and couldn't even see each other. People popped in and out of the area constantly for no reason and would then suddenly reappear. Another thing I couldn't stand was the way the game is visualized. There is WAY too much blurriness on distant objects. Even when things are at a distance where that wouldn't even be considered natural. Also, the game is incredibly.... Soviet Russian. It's pretty jarring. I was never a fan of the artstyle when they first showed it off so I already knew that wasn't going to win me over. All in all, definitely not something I will be spending any time or money on.

Yes. If we consider only FF games that came out on PS1 or later then only FFXIII is worse than FFX/X-2 imo.
