What in the world are they planning?

"E3 focus? Our next big game"
And some say they shouldn't go third party..

Not really. I always said "if it ain't 2016 then it's very early 2017"

Nintendo seem utterly clueless again.

Nintendo has become a joke in my eyes. Once the leaders and saviors of gaming, have now become fools who do not know how to compete and are completely out of touch with todays market. I dont need to see the NX to know it will flop, people can quote me on this, but the NX will be lucky to sell WiiU or Vita numbers.

They have announced the NX a year ago, and since then it was announced that it will skip the two E3's following that announcement. we have a fudgy release date for it, before we even know what the dang thing is. it is releasing March next year, but for some fudgy reason they decided to make it skip this years E3? thats just 9 months before release, Sony announced PS4 9 months before release, and the timing was perfect.

What Nintendo are doing now are screwing over anybody who bought a WiiU (just look at their software and upcoming games), have told anybody interested in buying a WiiU since march last year to wait for the NX, then they shot them selfs in the foot when it came to even showing off the NX and marketing it. are Nintendo morons? do they have no idea what so ever about the market place and how to market their shame?

this is the first time i will say this, Nintendo just go fudgy third party, you arent equipped to compete with the big dogs in the industry.

Read through vgc thread. Hilarious people who said 2016 were closer but the 2017 people are gloating. 2017 people were the same one who said zelda u would launch this year exclusive on wii u

Dr. Pezus

Will be difficult if PS4 Neo is really launching this year. NX won't be much of an improvement. They better hope the gimmick catches on

Not sure how the discussion on the chertz has been evolving but if people are still gloating because Nintendo totally planned to release the NX in march of 2017 someone should probably show em this:

Which is a bad sign...

A good sign too, but still. To have such a horrible Wii U lineup these past years and still have issues with software at launch; it's just crazy.

Nintendo just never adapted.  Texture detailed changed immensely.  They were never really willing to invest the man power into greater detail.  I mean, look at their games.  They're plainly textured.  I'm not sure how things are going now for them.

They are still incompetent when it comes to meeting deadlines.

Just looked at vgc for this news. It's now denial this means Nintendo has problems with development

Don't know how anyone can deny it considering 5 titles shouldn't take longer than 6 months with a small team. Ssb, splatoon,  Mario Maker and Zelda are rumor launch games... Aka ports and 1st party has been Mia for Nintendo so what games are they working on?

I've seen a couple "oh they didn't specify 1st party. This could be for 3rd party"

LOL because 3rd parties love releasing on a user base of 0 and competing against every other game launching that day.

Also, that is obviously the best interest of Nintendo to concern themselves about 3rd party and missing holidays

While I do think Nintendo is dropping the ball with development, I honestly think the delay is on AMD's end.  Zen isn't ready and I'll assume that's what's going in the Nx. Falls in line with the rumour of having a more powerful CPU than the ps4.

Which may be very bad for Nintendo if the competition is releasing at the same time. I already suspect Nintendo will have a hard time prying people away from Xbox and PlayStation in the West but also competing against the enhanced version without any real grace period?
