NX March 2017, not at E3

Which may be very bad for Nintendo if the competition is releasing at the same time. I already suspect Nintendo will have a hard time prying people away from Xbox and PlayStation in the West but also competing against the enhanced version without any real grace period?

Yeah.  Really depends what Sony does with the ps4, but it'll be a two prong attack that might really hurt Nintendo.  Money challenged people can buy the cheaper ps4 with 2k games and people who aren't as money challenged can pick up a 4k ps4.  A 4k ps4 that'll cost as much as an Nx.

Worst thing for Nintendo is that the longer they wait to talk about this thing, the more time Sony and Microsoft have to shore up support for their enhanced platforms. Meanwhile, Nintendo has to convince people to actually replace their, at most, 4 year old Wii U with something they still know nothing about.

While mind boggling skipping E3 for NX. Most people pay attention during E3 and no event can replace that coverage.

which is why its utterly stupid from Nintendo, how can they release a fudgy console without it being present at any E3. they talked about it last march! if the hardware isnt ready.. just dont show it yet! Sony did that with the PS4 at the announce event.
