I'd be pissed if I was a developer for this game. Leaks suck and this announcement would have been completely opposite to what people expected from Bend.

Space game was probably the SSM game that was cancelled. Seems the guy knows what's being worked on, but has zero clue about when things are being announced.

I'd be pissed if I was a developer for this game. Leaks suck and this announcement would have been completely opposite to what people expected from Bend.

Well, we knew about Horizon before it was officially revealed. Didn't stop me from being extremely impressed.

What do you guys think of the tease btw.? Sound like a game you could enjoy? In combination with the open world rumour we got earlier I'm getting some Mad Max vibes, mixed with some Dead Rising maybe?

So open world, post-apocalyptic setting with vehicular focus, survival horror but overall not too serious in tone, something like that. Could be fun.

Gosh no.  
I don't want the focus on a vehicle.  If it's there, and it's good I will probably pick it up when it gets cheap, but not any sooner.

If it's realistic ala mad max, I'll probably not care that much.

If it has zombies and/or something fun to make the world unique, that could be cool.

Can't be SSM's game as this was cancelled in early 2014 and that post was from 2015.
