You're right about SSM game being too early for this, but that post was from June 2014.

Hype levels rising, I love space!

Horizon

It is just inconceivable to me that ND could be working on 3 games at once.

It's not that uncommon if the third game is only in early prototyping.

True but even 2 games at the same time would mean ND have a game ready for possibly 2017 which is crazy.

Remember, ND announced TLOU less than a month after Uncharted 3 released. It's possible!

Well they do have two teams. So two games will be going at the same time. Like anything else production related you'll start to spin up your next project before one is finished. That way you're always working on two games.

Last time we heard they were no longer a two-team studio. They brought all hands on deck for Uncharted 4. Which was almost certainly because they scrapped Amy Hennig's work and started over. We'll just have to see if they revert back after Uncharted 4.

Even if so as people finished their jobs then they'll fall back on to their other game. And i'm sure that the other game is behind so as uncharted people finished up then they'll go help out the other team get back on track and the start full production on the game in the planning phase now.

The problem is we don't know when they scrapped the two-team idea and how far along their other projects were. If any of their projects were in the infant stages when they got yanked to work on Uncharted 4, you can forget about seeing the next game soon.

Well I hope not. A new ND every couple years would be epic.

I agree. I would love it if Naughty Dog comes out any time this year and announces their next game and it turns out we only have to wait until early 2018 at the latest.

That's what they managed last gen. Uncharted 2007, Uncharted 2 2009, Uncharted 3 2011, TLOU 2013. Back on PS2 and PS1 they'd release some games in just a year.
