And you guys thought that with what Oculus and Vive are going for, Sony was going to be able to make this available for less than 400 without losing tons of money during the process?

@the-Pi-guy vive includes camera and controllers, and rift includes camera. PSVR is just the headset

well,.. i'm at least out for the first year.   that's just not an impulse level price for me and i don't have confidence that vr will go mainstream.  holiday 2017 if the platform still looks viable i'll think about it.
