i've got no problem with other systems getting the same games as what i get on my favorite system but i do take extreme offense to being told one thing and then the complete opposite being what happens.  multiplat isn't an issue.  being lied to is.  being lied to over and over and over again is a massive issue.

http://www.pcgamer.com/why-scalebound-crackdown-3-and-quantum-break-arent-coming-to-pc/

"In the case of things like Scalebound or Crackdown or Quantum Break, you know, just to be completely honest with you, we started those games before we really looked at expanding into Windows in the way that I wanted to bring as part of becoming head of Xbox.
"Going to those teams mid-cycle and saying: 'Hey, by the way, I want to add a platform,' didn't really feel like necessarily the best way to end up with the best result for the game. They had a path that they were on. It's not to say those games could never come to Windows, but right now we're on the path to finish the great games that they've started, and I want that to be the case. These games are on a path, whereas with, like, Halo Wars 2 I had the opportunity from the beginning, when we're sitting down with the studio, to say, 'Here's the target. Here's what we wanna go do.'

this article is less than a year old.  i know things change but these aren't that old.  the pc port for quantum break was probably already started when these statements where made.   people would have taken the pc port much better if it was 6 months late but releasing the same day makes this an obvious lie.

Going off of his reaction, it'll likely be his last ticket...

It does seem like the Xbox brand is shifting towards becoming more of a service than a console brand.

The best thing about crudgamers meltdown is that he's pretending to actually play games.

If the GS article wasn't a "mistake", then that means Crackdown 3 is the only retail exclusive that has been officially announced.

[CORRECTION] This post originally said that Gears of War 4 and Scalebound are confirmed for PC. GameSpot regrets the error.

Gamestop reported that gears and Scalebound where also coming to PC in the same article. Ms got pissed and they had to remove it. So it now a confirmed rumor.  ::)

I mean I was pretty sure we all already knew that. Was that only just now posted by them?

No, it was posted sometime between when GAF posted their summary and now.
So it was not in the GAF thread.  Don't think it was mentioned here.

The GAF thread was only fixed 17 minutes ago it looks like.

At least that's when the last edit was.

Worse still is that only Crackdown's multiplayer is planned for this year.

Such a far cry from what Microsoft originally envisioned for the XB1 in 2013. Previously purposed as an all-in-one media box to conquer the living room, it has become a redundant platform. I mean it's great in that more gamers can get their hands on these games, though the XB1's growth will be significantly hindered now that the perceived value has dropped.
