Price drop.

That's what I've been telling people.  The Wii U is great, it's just not worth the 300$ and certainly not to most people.  It desperately needed a cut.

If Nintendo drops the Wii U to $199 it will start to outsell Xbox One.

Do that Nintendo.

"Teasing Xbox One's 2016 lineup at the Credit Suisse Technology Conference in Arizona yesterday, Mehdi explained that "gaming has been a pretty big success case" for Microsoft, and that it "had probably [had] the best year we've ever had for Xbox" in 2015."

I don't know who he's trying to fool with that stuff, but it's clear as day that this is certainly not the "best year they've ever had for Xbox".
Can't you read? The best year they ever had, exclusively in 2015

"And it's on the back of the greatest games lineup in Xbox history," he said. "So if you like to game, this is the year to get an Xbox. We have Halo 5 launching. We have Minecraft on Xbox. We have Gears of War, Tomb Raider. The best lineup; next year will also be the best lineup, exclusively on PS4."
Fixed that for him.

Kerotan

Into Thursday and that ps4 sku is still #1. Even with battlefront bundle doing well.

Wii U is doing good.  It's $100 cheaper than the ps4 so it it doesn't pass it in the next day or two it has no chance with the ps4 deal looming.

Gears bundle is actually $25 cheaper but it makes no difference.  Roll on Sunday and let's see what the new Deal brings.  If the ps4 stays number #1 then we'll have to use the yearly to try put some perspective on it.

But I really want to see how the 299 battlefront bundle will do vs uncharted.

every year it will be their best line up.

MS's PR has been all over the place lately. i wonder if they will really go with the "best line up" line again next year. it got really boring fast this year.

He's not talking about the lineup though, this is the whole thing put together:

To me this sounds like he's alluding to this being the best year for Xbox in terms of business performance, which is BS.

yeah i read that. it was so absurdly wrong that i just ignored it. its like they are talking out of their dog hoping nobody will notice what they are saying.

but he goes on to say 2016 will also be the best line up. in a rather stupid way as well. "2015 is the best line up, 2016 is also the best line up". i mean come on, at least put some effort into it.

Maybe everyone's unhappy again like October and there's no rush
US doomed

"PS4 and Xbox One were both heavily discounted over Black Friday weekend. An Xbox One with Rare Replay and Ori and the Blind Forest retailed for as low as £220, and refurbished PS4s were selling for below £200 on Amazon."

Lol I find it hilarious how MS biased MCV is.  Why mention the price of refurbished PS4s? How much did refurbished XB1s cost?

gamrConnect Forums - (UK) Black Friday week: 315k consoles sold, PS4 beats XB1 by ~5k

Quote315,000 games consoles were sold during the Black Friday week.

UK retailers told MCV that it was PS4 that was the best-selling  machine, with around 139,000 consoles sold. But it was very close  between Sony and Microsoft, with Xbox One shifting almost 134,000 units.

Note that these figures run from Sunday, November 22nd to Saturday,  November 28th. So Sunday and Cyber Monday figures are not included.

PS4  and Xbox One were both heavily discounted over Black Friday weekend. An  Xbox One with Rare Replay and Ori and the Blind Forest retailed for as  low as £220, and refurbished PS4s were selling for below £200 on Amazon.

PS4 sales are up 28.6 per cent over last year's Black Friday, while Xbox One sales are up 23.3 per cent.

It's  a good result after what has been a relatively slow year for hardware  sales. However, these numbers are not quite as high as some of the  industry's more lofty estimations.

and Not sure, who ever won BF would surely want to say so. even nintendo usually posts PR. none of the 3 posting PR yet makes it seem like they dont got the numbers or something, not that all 3 dont want to give PR statements about it.
