QuoteMy prediction is Halo isn't going to chart next month because it will get leaped by some of the titles doing deep discounting on Black Friday.

Not one Halo 5 hot price ad has leaked yet. But titles like NBA 2K16, MGSV, Syndicate, Arkham, GTA5, Madden and heck even MKX all have huge discounts coming.  Not saying all will chart or sell more, but that's a lot of low priced competition in terms of unit sales.

One title that I'm going to pseudo-guarantee charts next month is Disney Infinity 3.0, Starter Packs will be under $40 at Best Buy, Target and Walmart.

Tomb Raider might not sniff the top 15, or even the top 20.  November is always (generally) about New Releases and deep discounts.

But these free game of your choice promos might help. Halo 5 climbed a few spots on Amazon after today's offer started. Free is even better than just a discount, after all.. So anyone who gets a X1 this week.. Most popular choices will be blops 3 and Battlefront, but 3rd one should be H5.

UK charts are out kinda early this week, these are the numbers that people will care about the most presumably...also RoTR had a 85/15 split.

QuoteWe can narrow down the gap for Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The 360 SKU is below the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. We don't have the splits by platform for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, but it is evident that the Xbox One SKU has to be below 50% which put it under 8,500 units sold. Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox 360 accounts for 15% of total sales, so all versions combined are below 56,700 units.

Blops 3 only -57%, very good second week. I expected that though. Fallout 4 launch 3Rd biggest of the year and 213% up on New Vegas' previous franchise record. Fantastic! Fallout 4 opened with 482k. Wow!

A 57% drop is very good considering that Halo 5 and Advanced Warfare dropped 78% and 77% in their 2nd second week, respectively.

Rorono

That's basically balancing the lost sales (relative to other CODs) on FW due to being released later in the week.

ethomaz

Yeap...thus year CoD was the first to have 2 days in the first week.

QuoteWell, I'll go and make the COD comparison by myself.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (90%)
First week - 690,000
Second week (-76%) - 165,600
First two weeks - 855,600

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (95%)
First week - 730,000
Second week (- 76%) - 175,200
First two weeks - 910,200

Call of Duty: Black Ops III (95%)
First week - 635,000
Second week (-57%) - 273,000
First two weeks - 908,000

Note: Ghosts sales were more spread out due to later launches of PS4 and Xbox One, this impacted first weeks' sales.

Dr. Pezus

Crazy that cod used to have 2m first week in the UK alone

So... Where's the chart? Is halo dropping?
