I wonder if Halo 5 will actually have good legs. The low initial sales are already bad enough and day-by-day game sales always follow an exponential decay pattern.

Seriously if PS4 sells less than 1m then gaming is doomed forever. Its game over for the industry.

I was thinking it might manage more than 1.5m this November, then September and October happened. I vastly overestimated it in both months. I think 1.5m max.... so if it does go higher I'll be very happy

I'll keep making polls for various November NPD things until it comes to results day. Let's hope we get some good gaf leaks in November too.

That's the problem. On one hand, it's concerning..on the other, it could just reinforce the idea of holdouts, in which case accumulating all those people's pre orders into an already packed-with-sales month like November could give you something bombastic. Or..not.

Sony should add AC Syndicate to the NDC BF deal. Given it's mediocre performance it'd probably cost them less to bundle it than other games (such as SW or COD), while still having more appeal (cause it's newer and more expensive unbundled) than another first party game (TLOU, etc). I mean, it's actually better value to get it now with Syndicate + type 0 for 350 than just NDC for 300.. If people prefered waiting for the more expensive November bundles instead of NDC 350 then I don't see how a 300 NDC would draw people away from other 350 bundles (like standard SW). Only selling that one bundle could cause a weak BF for Sony after strong first 3 weeks.

I think they should throw in a game that has come as a positive surprise to many, but that while a lot of people have heard positive things about it they are still not sure if it's worth the price of admission for them. I'm talking of course about Until Dawn.
