Fable Legends is having something horribly wrong behind the scenes.

I'm pretty sure it is still a 2015 release officially.

I'm predicting ps4 will hit about 4m in Japan only by the end of 2016.  

It looks like it will get 1.3-1.4m this year meaning it would need around 1.6-1.7m next year.  

This is dependent on one of its block busters hitting next year for the Xmas season.  Be it DQ11, FF15 or KH3.

So far this year PS4 has had a weekly average of 22k. It's likely to increase to 26k by years end.  Next year's average weekly should be above 30k and could get as high as 32k per week.  

In a market where home consoles are supposedly dead,  that ain't half bad!  The salty tears in media create gaf will be fun.

Hard to say but with the supposed lineup for 2016 the PS4, the system should have its best shot yet at showing its sales potential in Japan.

FFXV and DQXI are both supposed to release next year and both those games will be massive. And aside from that there's a very good number of other games coming that should sell well too. Star Ocean 5, DQ Builders and Heroes 2, Yakuza Remake and 6, Attack on Titan, SFV, UC4, DSIII, Persona 5, Nioh, Nier Automata, TLG, GT Sport and a bunch of other games should all sell 100k+ in Japan, some a lot more than 100k even, so software really shouldn't be a problem (assuming there are no widespread delays).

I'm personally still wondering about what the plan for Gravity Rush 2 is for Sony, the first game really didn't sell that well even in Japan and even with the remaster of that coming to PS4 I'm having difficulties seeing how Sony is going to make that sequel gain traction. I mean they are doing some Anime thing, which depending on the scope they are aiming with that (a simple OVA won't do anything, a full season with a good time slot on TV could have a pretty significant impact, though I'm not sure how they would get something like that) could have some effect, but globallyI think they'll be having a hard time, maybe they should consider bundling the remaster in with the second game even.

You think after nearly ruining some of their jrpgs last gen by going 360 exclusive in Japan they'd have learned their lesson.  I've never seen a 3Rd party exclusive deal backfire so much for both parties involved.

Speaking of JRPGs, from the rumored list of 360 games that will be backwards compatible with the XBO, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, NIER, The Last Remnant, and even Final Fantasy XIII (& its sequels) were absent.

the tomb raider pre orders are not that good, but not that bad as well, we have (at my store) 28 pre orders for the game but idk how the rest of my district looks, however its beating fallout 4 on XB1 the ps4 version of fallout 4 is beating out ROTR By 10 pre orders but in the next few days that can all change
