Great hold for ps4. Will do big numbers with bo3 next week both hardware and software.  YTD will pass out a million and LTD will be at most 1 week away from 2 million.

Almost double the Wii U in what has been it's strongest YTD so far and it's not too shabby compared to the 3DS YTD.  It's putting together quite a streak of top selling weekly hardware and I can't see 3DS topping it again for the next few weeks.

One week after launching worldwide, Halo 5: Guardians has made history as the biggest Halo launch and fastest-selling Xbox One exclusive game to-date, with more than $400 million in global sales of Halo 5: Guardians games and hardware, pushing the franchise to over $5 billion lifetime. With the highest week one attach rate for a Microsoft first party title on Xbox One, the game was the most played of any game on Xbox One, as well as the most played on Xbox Live.

Very, very clever PR by Microsoft. Remember that the revenue includes the Halo LE bundle, the deluxe edition, the collector's edition, headset, the Locke themed controller, and the Master Chief themed controller.

MS PR: Spin over 9000 edition.  

400m worth of sales and that includes the $500 limited edition. As well as the controller and other special editions they launched.  

The game definitely flopped by halo standards and this is confirming it.  Not even a hint regarding copies sold.

Vena is either intellectually challenger or just a ridiculous fanboy.  Maybe both.  

This is his weekly jab at ps4 in Japan.  For starters 18k was a high point for the ps4 baseline and in his own words it "was a soft price drop with bloodborne being bundled ".  PS4 would be selling around 15k the last few weeks if it wasn't for the price drop.  

But even if the baseline magically stayed up at 18k at 400$ it still increased its baseline by more than 20% with a 10% price cut and bloodborne no longer bundled.  

Considering home console market in Japan is dead according to these idiots,  selling 1m YTD by next week is bloody exceptional.  

Fact is ps4 will sell 8m plus in Japan and that's pretty good.  I can't wait to read his weekly spin as the ps4 will continue to do great for the rest of the year and all next year when it will do 1.5-2m. He's gonna have to come up with some good excuses.
