I really want to know the margin of victory.  If it's 150k plus the gap is gonna be close to 1 million meaning a slight October win could push it over 1m heading into November.

That would mean ms has to do another firesale or else it's fuked! Because star wars and bo3 ps4 console preorders are high so unlike last year Sony is gonna have a big advantage leading into November

I rest my point.
2 of those games are some of my absolute favorite to this day.
I've gotten Jak and FFX at least twice.

Seriously doubt that's the margin. I'd say 50k would be far more likely and even that seems like it might not be the case. The thing is, I just don't see Microsoft being able to do anything to replicate the 600k consoles they beat Sony by between November and December last year. Sony refused to price drop, they didn't come up with a compelling holiday bundle until the tail end of November, they didn't produce enough of that bundle for the short term, they had no big third-party marketing deal for new games (closest they had was Far Cry 4), and none of their holiday exclusives got many people excited. Microsoft walked into the 2014 holidays with every advantage they could have wanted in their situation. Not the case this year.

Yeah PS4 will do great numbers in October and insane numbers in Nov Dec.

It's crazy that there are people that expect XBO to beat them anywhere except October. Even another $50 cut would just bring the prices back to even.

And so it begins

So if that's the limited gap then that means ps4 won by about 50k units.  Not bad.

Can't wait for October NPD.  Gonna be very exciting

That could mean anything! If that is the gap then ps4 only won by 42k

And wow, this is the first time I've woken up and there's been no numbers!

259k vs 301k is good win.

Is that the official numbers?

It's not good, it's okay. Pretty much everyone was expecting a bigger win than that. XB1 is doing a lot better this year than I thought it would.

Forza 6 did 195k including bundles. Anyone have Forza 5 numbers? Or Horizon 2?

MGSV less than 800k, 3 to 1 in the PS4s favour.

That's using 560k and ps4 winning by 42k

Yeah I just saw that, there seems to be some confusion over the numbers though.

dang if only I had time to work stuff out myself.

What was the gap last month? Do we have exact numbers?
