Ps4 been doing really good on amazon Japan.  Could be one of its biggest weeks ever.  

And mgs5 too. Obviously a lot of mgs fans who were going to get it 2 or 3 weeks after release held off until the price cut.  

Cannot wait for next Wednesdays numbers and the weeks after.

Going off of DualShocker's anecdotes, the price cut seems to be working well (and Yoru No Nai Kuni appears to be selling well, too).

Literally the only advantage XBOX has this year over 2014 is Halo 5. XBO literally costs more(assuming no cut), has incredibly worse bundles(if TR is identical to the AC bundle last year. Identical value yet a year older), and lacks its biggest marketing partners. Meanwhile PS4 seems poised to have a much better holiday than 2014 even while lacking any exclusive. That's another negative for XBOX.


If Sony drops price by $50 while Microsoft stays firm, they will be slaughtered. November and December NPD they'll be less than half of PS4 I'd bet. If Halo 5 crashes and burns(unlikely) then it'd be way worse.

Microsoft needs to do another $50 cut just to stay competitive...

I get the feeling they can't do one again this year sadly. If it does happen though, it'll happen around October 25th. The kinect bundle and the ori bundle both release the same day as Halo 5.

Big night on comg.  

6 new titles appearing.  I wonder if anything exciting will appear.

And the update is in. 2 titles each for 3ds,  PS4 and vita.

Ps4 has a limited God eater edition so with that charting it looks like the game will do much better on ps4 then previously thought.

EA access,  sold for 10 bucks on xbox sales and 5$ on pc sales multiple times. Would include people who rented it,  borrowed off a friend,  game shared or used multiple accounts on same console.  

Considering theactive community is tiny this celebration seems better than it really is.  

Tiranfall 2 should be big though.  

Top 2 reasons people voted why they didnt buy it.  

1. Not on ps4
2. No campaign.  

We know it'll come to ps4 and I'd be shocked if they didn't throw in a 6 or 7 hour campaign.

I think he's trying to say that MS should've made a limited edition Fallout bundle rather than just a bundle with the black console.

You know why September NPD is so important?  

Obviously finding out if ps4 stretches it's American lead by 100k, 200k or 300k is important but to me it's to see how the annihilation on amazon translates into sales.  

As that annihilation is continuing tight now in October,  it will allow us to better predict who's going to win NPD October when the inevitable halo bump arrives.  

As we'll have a better idea of the sort of lead ps4 will have for the first few weeks.

Yeah, I think the September PS4 lead will be about 200k. You have to remember as well, throughout a lot of September XB1 was doing okay on amazon, it was only the last few days where it did awfully. So, if this trend continues October may be even worse. That is, before Halo 5 comes out. That being said the halo special edition console is slipping down again, down to 77. October will be very interesting, that's for sure.
