Sunset Overdrive, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, Titanfall, and MCC would have made a cooler collection. Pack in all the old games and make it feel like a starter pack.

Well, I have some clue. I think MS may have gone too big last holiday and lost a load of money in xbox ones. Investors weren't happy, this year they're not dropping the price so much. That's one possibility.

So gears is 40, rare replay is 20 and ori is 15. So really it's only 15 dollars over the price of a new game. Doesn't seem that great to me.

It's difficult to match a $50 pricecut + 2 free games without losing immense amounts of money per SKU sold.

Microsoft moves Xbox into new "More personal computing" segment - NeoGAF

Microsoft recently announced a shake up in the company. Today they confirmed their reporting is changing. They will change the reporting of their financial results to reflect the company's strategy and ambitions to build best-in-class platforms and productivity services for a mobile-first, cloud-first world. Beginning in fiscal year 2016, the company will report revenue and operating income based on three operating segments:Productivity and Business Processes The Productivity and Business Processes segment includes results from Office and Office 365 for commercial and consumer customers, as well as Dynamics and Dynamics CRM Online.Intelligent Cloud The Intelligent Cloud segment includes results from public, private and hybrid server products and services such as Windows Server, SQL Server, System Center, Azure, and Enterprise Services.More Personal Computing The More Personal Computing segment includes results from licensing of the Windows operating system, devices such as Surface and phones, gaming including Xbox consoles, and search. What this means is that Xbox has gone from it's own division over a decade ago to now being lumped into the same segment as Windows. That really shows how Microsoft has changed as a company to focus on Cloud and Office.  Just FYI, this doesn't change much in regards to Xbox.
