So I just caught up on today's posts.... RIP xbox is basically the summary.

That bundle is awful, they're selling xbox one with the exact same value as last year, holiday sales will be awful at this rate.

The thing is Sony can easily counter this bundle by packaging Tearaway: Unfolded and/or Disney Infinity with the PS4. I wonder what Microsoft's last bundle will be? I guess Fallout 4.

If they don't announce some kind of Fallout 4 bundle for the holidays, I'd argue that they're iced. These bundles have all lacked hype factor and the price point to make up for it. I'm sure Microsoft will do a late hour price drop but these bundles initially won't move the way previous bundles have. What will make the situation even worse is if Sony does indeed do a general Western price drop.

Disney Infinity already has a PS4 bundle.


LEGO movie bundle is just absolutely horrible compared to their other bundles. Will probably do good in UK though.

Yeah, I'm still sitting here and scratching my head. Wondering who in the fudge came up with that idea and, even more important, who the idiot was that approved it.

Betting they'll do a 1 TB Halo 5 bundle for 399. They already have the limited collector's edition for 499.

I'm not even sure if a Fallout 4 bundle will help that much. The PS4 version has consistently been ahead of the XBO on Amazon. Plus, WRPGs have shown to do a lot better on the PS4 though Fallout 4 also has FPS qualities.

I don't think it would be a matter of outselling the PS4 version as much as it would be simply giving the Xbox One SOMETHING to work with because right now these bundles are not cutting it. If Microsoft markets the hell out of Fallout 4, which they haven't done yet, it could turn things around at least temporarily for their version of the game. The way things are looking, it's almost as if Microsoft is just going to kick Halo 5 out the door and hope it's enough.

True, either a 500GB for 349 or a 1TB for 399 then. Perhaps they'll throw in The Master Chief collection as well and call it the ultimate halo bundle, although looking at the value of these other bundles that seems unlikely.

So I went to Amazon to see the price of just the game and it's $20... so actually, the value is even worse. The bundle is objectively bad.

Yeah this time last year there was white xbox one + Sunset Overdrive for 350, which is better value than this one. Why are they going backwards? :o
