Quote from: Xevross on Sep 24, 2015, 07:03 PMPS4 is about to get a price cut in India. I don't get why they're rolling it out in stages like this.
I guess Sony wants to milk as much revenue from the US as they can.

Nope. Price cut isn't till October 9th.

The thing is that there were already so many deals for the PS4 and XBO in the UK prior to Sony's price cut announcement.

Stores can decrease prices all they want, but it cuts into their profit margins. Official price cut allows them to go even lower!

True, should have said its already been announced. There's some great deals here already though, retailers are selling it for pretty much the same price as XB1 with the RRP much higher. We'll see if those prices lower in a couple of weeks

These are hourly charts so they probably change a lot, but still somewhat shows which games people are currently pre ordering.
Updated numbers.

SFV: #956 #796

So the numbers change throughout the day somewhat significantly, but overall there doesn't seem to be any bias.

I am just utterly shocked how bad Sea of Thieves is doing. Personally thought that was one of the best games Microsoft showed at E3 but I guess the general populus disagrees. Also might have something to do with people not knowing if it's a free to play mmo or not.

Woah, with the CE Uncharted is owning everything! This gon' be huge!

Ps4 did 8k this week.  First week after they announced the price drop.

That's pretty good and a lot better than I was expecting.

5k next Wednesday?

4-5k

I just saw on UK amazon that the Uncharted collection is beating pretty much every other upcoming game right now. Only Battlefront is ahead of it. That's much better than in the US. I think it could have an extremely strong opening in the UK, especially with the bundling.

And Halo 5 is performing pretty badly for a halo game

It's silver week next week so ps4 might not drop into the 2k range.

Either way you are looking at 25k purchases put back,  plus the regular 15k it probably would have gotten that week.

So that's 40k sales.  I wonder if the cut can get an additional 10k to buy and get the number over 10k.

Could be way off butthat'd be sweet.

Halo 5 still has like a month before release. Hopefully Microsoft finally markets the game so it has a chance to go up.

Like seriously, we've seen a lot of footage of Warzone and three mediocre missions of campaign. That's it. Nothing about Forge.

Have they even confirmed Forge?

Okay, I get it.  343 doesn't care about Forge.
I'll just stop hoping for it to be good.  Maybe I'll be surprised but considering they still don't want to talk about it, I doubt it.

Forge is improved significantly and we'll talk about it more, closer to the game's launch.
