Especially after we saw the PS4 version of Blops III outpacing the XBO version on Amazon three-fold, I say shenanigans.

I really want to know ioi's methodology, step-by-step. I have a feeling that he's relying too much on past trends to make his predictions, which leads to leaving out several confounding variables, one of which includes Sony getting marketing rights to both games.

I don't think you can read anything into that amazon ranking. People were pre ordering it off amazon to get a beta key then cancelling their pre order later. During the xbox one beta it topped the PS4 version handily as well. Still, PS4 will be top.

I still dont believe xbox one outsells wii u in germany.
It never has any friken games outside of gta in the charts consistently.

PS4 Madden might beat XBO Madden again.
MGSV XBO is a flop already 2 days in and is going into Amazon's 70s.
Mario Maker will probably take #2 on Amazon soon.
and holy crud chartz failed big time with gran turism; 6.

Wii U and xbox one sell so little weekly in Germany it really doesn't matter who sells more.  They are both failures there.

Star wars battlefront Ps4 appears on comg with 77 days left.  Did not expect that!

The number was not important to the case... so they give a estimate... if they won then the court will ask Sony for the real numbers to math the sentence.

MGSV xbo preorders are too high to that game never came into the top 20 at launch or anytimefor xbo at major retailers.

I feel like yoshi is too high while mario maker is low but thats just me.
XCX I believe a little maybe 20k preorders in US?

XBO is doing ok but its mostly selling to the German casuals.

An interesting article from Dualshockers regarding MGSV: TPP (I know, I know, the site sucks).

It references observations from a store manager of Games Ma-Ya, a popular independent store in Tokyo. Her blog is here, though it's all in Japanese.

Sales started strong on the first day, with an atmosphere that was almost like a festival. Not only the game sold strongly, but it also pushed PS4 console sales. A customer even purchased the standard edition, the limited edition, and the PS4 bundle at the same time.

High sales continued in the second day, and the manager expressed surprise on how popular the PS4 version seemed to be. On the third day the PS3 version started to move nicely as well. It probably won't be able to catch the PS4 version, but sales are going to be strong on the long run.

The PS4 version of The Phantom Pain led by far everything else even on the fourth day, with very high daily numbers. Word of mouth on the game is spreading, and the manager noticed many customers that she didn't see before, meaning that stocks of the game are thinning at big retailers.

And then there's also a tweet that the PS3 version, PS4 version, and the PS4 bundle have sold out at BICQLO in Shinjuku.

In fairness xbox has waaaaay more games.  Nintendo users are confined to a very small selection.  

Xbox sells way more software per user and that's what really matters.
