Cute Pikachu

Add to that a homeconsole game in its 13th week doing close to 50k is insane!

Remember, this is a holiday. So we'll likely see a sharp drop the next week.

I think the numbers got leaked.

3Ds well above ps4
PS4 19K
Wii U 17k
Psv 17k
PS3 3k

Ps4 the only console up YOY this week and massively at that.  It's sales are astounding consider the lack of big games and next gen exclusives. You can see why Japanese devs are so confident and are announcing new games by the week.

Happy Home Designer: 140k.
Youkai: 100k
Splatoon: 40k

Some of the chertz faithful will be disappointed with that.  I seen people hoping for splatoon as high as 80k this week. Seems comg was not representative this week.

Just no.
Depends on the tracker really. I still believe MC is the superior tracker though.

It is more reliable because it tracks more retails than Famitsu... Dankengi shows numbers close to MC than Famitsu too.

Anyway PS4 holding strong over 15k this year.

New baseline?

I thought Famitsu tracked more retail. They just track different stores in some areas.

Yeah media create is the more reliable tracker and apologies,  I should never underestimate the ps4!

Hopefully it can do 15k for the next 2 weeks pre mgs5. The thing is gonna do great.  Just imagine when all games become psv + ps4 with no ps3 version.

Nothing stops this train

Yeah obviously ps4 has a big mgs boost but considering how high it's baseline has been I wonder if it can manage close to 15k for the next 2 weeks.

It could be looking at 100k in the next 3 weeks which would be excellent.

I think Until Dawn could end up being a sleeper hit. These past few weeks everything has been going right for it. As long as the actual review scores agree with the early impressions and the meta stays above the 70s, word of mouth will market this game like no other. Especially amongst casuals.

"why are horror movie characters so stupid" gets over 6 million results on google. It's the most common trope/cliche in horror films and is constantly mocked. Like this Geico commercial:

Yet in Until Dawn, viewers finally can decide what characters do. The PSX gameplay demo went over incredibly good with the crowd spontaneously joining in and shouting what to do.

If the game nails this feeling of control and choice, it'll be huge with groups playing together. Do better than heavy rain even.
