So, thus far this quarter the PS4 is at 384,000 in the US and the X1 is at 191,000. PS4 leading 2-to-1 so far. Also, the X1 doing sub-80k in its first May is worse than the PS3's first May which it did 80k. Same as April.

The second calendar quarter of the year is typically the most brutal for sales. April and May especially. The PS4 is actually more than double over what the PS3 was in its first April and May. The Wii, 360, and PS3 are just simply old machines. Ancient by any standard in electronics. They're not going to see good numbers again. The Wii U is dead thanks to Nintendo. Not the market. Consumer confidence in the X1 is shakey right now. It would not surprise me if the PS4 stayed as the only console making good sales on a monthly basis.
