So it seems that x1>ps4 in june. But that's only counting game stop, and maybe just one store? or does he know all stores sales?
He should only know a handful for sure. He only manages a few stores. I still think the PS4 will take it by a few 10s of thousands. Then dominate again till September. Kill in September and the continue to kill until January.

Really, the stores he gets data from is not a good account for who will win. Sure you might be able to extrapolate data from a few stores and guess, but it would likely be as reliable as the chartz!! :-p  You have to think are there more people in his area that wanted an xbox one, is he near a big city with a lot of people which would naturally get more sales, obviously.  And even though Amazon is not the best thing to predict sales, the fact the $399 xbox one is not setting the bestsellers list on fire does not bode too well for MS, imo.

I was going to say the same thing. The fact that the X1 is getting its dog kicked on Amazon, which has been entirely reliable for determining which console won NPD every month so far, is not a good sign. Also, wasn't BenV making it sound like March belonged to the X1? I seem to recall him making an excuse that the PS4 surged back at the end of the month and that's why the NPD was different than what he was letting on. As far as his claims of PS4 dominance in May, anyone could have guessed that. Between shaming April sales for X1, a $400 SKU announced as coming early the next month, Watch Dogs being heavily marketed for PS4, and no X1 exclusives to boost sales for even a week... yeah it was quite the safe bet. How sure are we that he's legit?

I think it's just amazing the ps4 has sat in the top 10 pretty much ever since its been available without stock issues. CRAZY DEMAND still, imo.  Though it's died down some.  And yeah May was obviously gonna be very bad for XB1 and any sane person could predict that.  I don't think either the xb1 or ps4 will set June on fire with sales, but they will be close enough to declare a tie.  No matter WW will still be ps4 stomping all over xbox one.

Also, looking at Gamestop's online store, the X1 $400 SKU is 48 ranks behind the PS4 on the best sellers list and 54 behind the PS4 Destiny Bundle.

EDIT: Don't ask how I screwed up the first time.

Cream:
200k > PS4 > 100k > XBO > Wii U > 360 > 50k > PS3 > Wii

Also don't forget the weird gamestop press release thingy stating, xbox one's are flying off the shelves.  If a store was selling like 1 xbox every day or every other day, and are now selling say 4 xbox's every day or so, I would classify that as flying off the shelves.  It's so open for interpretation on what it means.  And obviously when they announced the $399 xbox people probably didn't buy that many so when the new one released they starting selling a lot more than usual.

Not to mention that press release happened the same week the dang thing came out. It had only been available for a couple days. Of course it's going to look like they're selling left and right. My question is how are they selling a week later and then again by the end of the month? The question isn't whether or not the SKU would sell a lot its first few days. The question was how does it compare to PS4 and will it sustain those sales?

I can not wait for June NPD's!! Gonna be a bloodbath between fanboy factions!

Also I would have thought ps4 would have been over 200K, but were coming up on a summer drought and I never thought Watch Dogs would be too big of a system seller, but I thought it would have done something more.  Was ps4 below or above 200k for april?  Can't remember.
