"Alternate timeline" is probably most often used in a multiverse setting, where there are multiple different versions of everything. And multiverses often are effectively treated as alternate timelines that diverged because of different reasons.
I think they are distinct concepts, but there are plenty of instances where the writer says one but means the other.

The discs are manufactured on demand, yet they're pressed discs - which often isn't the case for MOD releases.
They do a great job with the releases, and they don't charge as much as I feel like some other distributors charge. Even compared to Warner Home Video, same company - The Looney Tunes sets from WHV are $10 more for comparable sets. (And a few of them have been out of print - so they have costed $200 until a couple weeks from now)
