One thing I'm hoping for though is that UC4s campaign is a good chunk longer than the last Uncharted games campaign was, since I don't think we've ever got as much uncut singleplayer gameplayer of an Uncharted game before launch. With 45 minutes of gameplay demos shown already I'm hoping for maybe something like a 13 hour campaign, without rushing.

Well, inherently, the UC4 will be longer because the levels are a lot more open than those in previous games. Though I also hope that the story, itself, has a good amount of length.

since the levels are semi-branching you'll probably get better reply value out of the campaign regardless.

They already said it will be around the same length of previous games.

After they had to redo everything, I doubt it would be longer than 8 hours. Maybe 9 at best. Which would be almost as long as previous games

unless you're me and every game takes 2-3x longer to complete than what everyone else takes.  i seriously don't understand how people finish games so fast.  do you guys never take time to actually look around and enjoy the game?!?!?

The fudgy campaign better not be 8 hours, that'd be absolute shame with how much they already showed. UC2 was 11 hours long according to howlongtobeat, as well.

Also again, they didn't have to redo everything, they redid the story, they don't have to cut out all created gameplay content to do that.

I take my time, I look around and search for secrets and stuff, but I don't spend hours looking at every rock in a game.

Jeez what's wrong with you?  Looking at rocks is 99.9999% of the game.  

The recommendation for rock gazing for Uncharted 4 is 12 minutes per rock.

PS3 - 30 seconds per rock.
Uncharted 1 - 35 seconds per rock.

And you are absolutely correct, these are all completely accurate and well tested figures that are actually completely made up for this joke.

it's not like i spend my time looking a rocks.

but in the uncharted bar fight i stopped to read to posters on the wall.  in infamous second son i took the time to listen to the protesters chants.  in the order i stopped for a bit to admire the view of whitechappel from the roof top,.. i read all the newspapers too.  i read all the descriptions to weapons/armor in bloodborne and searched out every hidden passage. 

i dunno.  each of these games employs hundreds of artists that put years of their life into the game.   i like admiring their work.

He mentioned earlier that he was going to tease something upcoming. We know how reliable Shinobi is. He doesn't say something unless he's pretty dang certain it's happening. Looks like a lot of us are getting our wish. Norse mythology for the next God of War. Now the question is, is it still Kratos? I honestly hope not. Either they give him a personality makeover or they need someone new. I don't know how much I'll be able to stand the forever scowling, super pissed off, "it's everyone else's fault but mine" shame for another game.

well, i have all but accepted a long time ago that there will be a new GoW game. just make it awesome SSM. cant say i like the leaks, i wish everything was just left for E3 for more surprises. its just 2 months away now.
