Yes, surprisingly so! Very well acted by the main actress too.

Yes, Orphan Black is great. 

It's not amazing the entire series, but it's still solid overall

YouTube was suggesting me a bunch of Frieren videos, and it was hitting hard. Having a "I really love this show, don't I" moment.

I even got a video recommended!

I watched half of it before I realized it was just a lame show about an elf. The vid was about living in an alien environment so I expected something more interesting than just a long lifespan.

Nah. 

Frieren has a pretty big standard world, but it's made with a lot of love. 

Attack on Titan has a somewhat fascinating world. 


I really don't know any big anime about aliens. There's Parasyte.

Watched the first two episodes of Catch-22.

I read the book high school, there were only a few things I remembered. I remember the book being very funny, and tragic at the same time. 

I wouldn't say the show is a great comedy. There are still some funny bits, but it's a decent show. 

A funny part that stuck with me this entire time:

catch-22 was a tv series?  not that i watched it but i thought it was a movie.


one of my favorite books ever as can be evidenced by it's one of the only books i've ever read more than once.   just absolutely amazing mix of comedy and despair.

There's a 1970 movie, and a 2019 mini series of 6 episodes on Hulu.

Almost done with the show. 

I think I would say it's pretty good if you haven't read the book, and disappointing if you had. Based on reading impressions. 

I'm in kind of a weird place, where I vaguely remember the book. It's been like 11 years since I read it last. And I remember a lot of the characters, I don't remember a lot of the story. 

I'm enjoying the show personally, and it's nice to have a short 6 episode show. But the book is definitely much better.

i've been borrowing star trek discovery from the library over the last year.   mid season 3 right now.   the show is quite good.   far better than other more recent attempts at star trek.  kind of a shame this is locked to paramount because i feel like it could have been huge on netflix.   then again,.. paramount has given it 5 seasons so far and netflix would have totally canceled it after season 3....

I like discovery a lot. It gets so much hate for no reason, imo.
