White Collar is apparently coming back. I hope though that they put out a blu-ray with it....

Got Dexter's Laboratory and Batman Beyond animated series coming tomorrow...

Which makes 5 TV series I've gotten in the past 2 weeks. Previously got 5 seasons of Family Guy, Ghost Whisperer for wifey and I got Digimon for my son.

It's been like 5 months since I've gotten so many TV shows in rapid succession like that...

West Wing Complete Series  - October 1st
Arcane Season 1 - October 8th
Veep - October 22nd
Attack on Titan Final Part - Nov 26th
Frieren - December 17th
Sound! Euphonium - December 17th

Not a tremendously exciting list. And I'm probably not going to get anything on this list any time soon.

Big contrast from my last list where I bought half of the list pretty much on launch.

Current movies and shows/releases I'm looking forward to:

Boy and the Heron blu-ray: July 9
Monk Season 8 blu-ray: July 16
Columbo The Return blu-ray (looking forward to reviews): July 16th
Scooby-Doo Witch's Ghost/Alien Invaders blu-ray
Arcane Season 1 4k: TBA
Inside Out 2 4k: TBA
Succession on blu-ray: (TBA)
Wednesday Season 2 (TBA)

Not sure what else.

Not that anyone cares about these. But it's almost bizarre how much WB seems to cut their own streaming service.

Quote
these shows just got removed from Max:
- Chowder
- Gumball
- Regular Show
- Steven Universe
- We Bare Bears
- Ben 10
- The Powerpuff Girls (2016)

Here's hoping this is all just an accident and they forgot to change some internal expiration date.
I almost feel like WB is the one company that treats its physical media buyers better than they treat their streamers.

Disney just removed Indiana Jones from D+ so it seems common for everyone.

I watched the first two episodes of the newer She-ra with my daughters. I watched it 4 years ago almost to the day.

It's not a show for most people, but it's such a me show.

A really fun mix of goofy and seriousness.
I felt so good watching the show.

It's been a long time since I've watched Death Note.

The first two thirds are really incredible. I remember being disappointed with the last third, but so far I am still enjoying it.

Apparently Rondald D. Moore got scooped up for God of War.  Moore was pretty much the best writer for 90s Star Trek (Wrote the best episodes of TNG and was managing Deep Space Nine).

That could be great.

I really don't understand why the writing on these new shows tends to be so trash. You're spending millions and millions to make them look good, why not spend just a little bit to make them have good writing too?

It finally happened.

Been stuck on DVD for a long while.

I have the DVDs.  doubt the 4k is worth the upgrade for this show.

Featured Artist: Vanessa Hudgens

From what it sounds like Sony is releasing the 4k set at the original 4:3 aspect ratio, and the blu-ray set in 16:9.

The 4k set is super expensive, but I think I'll try getting it at some point.

"Enthusiasts" are so funny.

The listing for the Seinfeld went up, and there was a lot of discussion on whether the aspect ratio listings were correct. A lot of people were saying they weren't going to buy if it was 16:9.

Then it got confirmed to be the original aspect ratio of 4:3 for the 4k version.

Are people happy?

Nope, they've found different things to complain about.
"No dolby vision? hmmm."
"I'm annoyed that it's using 5.1 audio."
