Still watching Be Cool, Scooby-Doo when I need something good for the kids.

Watching Better Call Saul when I don't as much.  So far, feels different from Breaking Bad. Don't want to be spoiled on anything. Almost finishing season 1.

Ordered Wednesday on blu-ray. Maybe a mistake.

Netflix makes blurays for their shows? Didn't know that.

Extremely rarely.

I think it's dependent on popularity + if someone else is making the show (WB distributes blu-rays of Lucifer even though the second half is a Netflix original).

It's sometimes spotty though.
The first two seasons of Stranger Things is on blu-ray, then season 3 is only on DVD.

near as I can tell,.. no.

sometimes Netflix produces their own content.  sometimes Netflix buys the steaming rights to things produced not by Netflix and then slaps their label on it anyways.  it's the latter that tends to get put out on Blu-ray because it's not Netflix doing the work.   they don't seem to care about physical releases as long as it can't be streamed anywhere else.

I actually wrote to Criterion to ask if they'd distribute Klaus, since they've distributed a number of Netflix films before.

I'm naively hoping if I buy the first season of Wednesday, then the future ones will be more likely to come out too.

NIIIICE! I really liked season 1 so hyped for this.  I'm on the side of I don't give a shame that he takes his helmet off.

I've always thought master chief was a pretty 1 dimensional character anyway so at least they are trying to add depth to the character even if it doesn't always land 100% of the time.

a proper adventure requires linear.   wide linear or small sections of open can work but a full open world is a terrible design for Indy.

There can be funky things on here but it's way more likely that you just clicked on the thread above the one you meant to.  ::)

I think the main problem is that he wasn't stoic when his helmet was off. I really liked the fight though when he was out of his armor. Showed that he was a super soldier even without the suit.

Overall looks pretty good.  A bit more serious and dark than i had hoped for but i'll watch it.
