They are going to be renamed to Nintendo Pictures.

They worked on lots of random stuff. They apparently do a lot of motion capture, assisted with some movie production and also assisted with some games.

Wonder why they want to do this vs just license their IP. Sony struggles enough with converting their games to the silver screen.

nintendo likes to do everything in-house.   works well for them on their consoles.   not sure it will work out in the movie/tv space but this totally fits nintendo's "we need to control everything" persontality.
