I really hoped he'd get one last super bowl win.

I know Brady is a lot older, but watching Ronaldo score an hat trick at 37 might of convinced him to stay. I mean he decided to not retire a day after watching that Manchester United game and met up with Ronaldo who questioned if he was finished.

Bruh Ronaldo ain't Ronaldo anymore. Age catches up with you no matter what. Ronaldo is still a good player, but he ain't what he used to he or even close. Same for messi.

Scoring hatrick still shows he got quality, but he can't put in that type of performance day in day out like he used to.

But of course when you're getting 20~ million salary a year. Playing till you're 37-40 makes so much sense instead of retiring at 33 or so

i'm half convinced this is the real reason brady is unretiring:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tom-brady-leland-auction-500000-nfl/

brady announced his unretirement 6 hours after the auction...
