I think the reason they don't seem sure about the developers is because the choice is left to the individual. I'm sure each one got a healthy bonus. But as for the three co-founders the decision is they are leaving

The only good thing that can come out of this imo is a potential Steam release of Minecraft FINALLY.........also hopefully they make it into where you wont need JAVA to run the game.

I actually expect MS to make Minecraft 2/whatever exclusive to their next console and maybe PC and their mobiles too. They will keep the fans in good faith for now and then BAM strike them where it hurts and force them to buy their products
