Great stuff.  Did not see this coming.  I said before that Sony seems to be figuring out that they can make quicker titles that are still loved.
3.) Gran Turismo 7
Expected.
4.) Ratchet and Clank
Ratchet and Clank feels like it's flexing the SSD more than any other game by seamlessly jumping through portals.  
5.) Project Athia
Game looks great.
6.) Stray
7.) Returnal
8.) Sackboy: A Big Adventure
There look to still be some bubbles with stuff in them, but doesn't seem like there's enough to be a play create share experience like LBP.  
9.) Destruction: All Stars
Meh.
10.) Kena
Really looks interesting.  Love the vibrant colors.  
11.) Goodbye Volcano High
I love the art, but I have no idea what this is.  I really love the art.  Really reminds me of another game, where I had it in mind to buy the game just because of the art.

Meh.  Looks fine.  Isn't the kind of game I want to play.

Yes absolutely although trailer was a bit weird.

Yes - its not big and doesn't show off graphics or anything but its another full exclusive to announce.

Yes - see above.

Yes - its not exclusive but its a gorgeous game and good to show this kind of thing.
11.) Goodbye Volcano High
No - cross gen and on PC plus its not going to appeal to 95% of people watching. Save it for a smaller state of play or something.

Hell no - already announced and cross gen.
13.) Tokyo Ghostwire
Console exclusive to PS5 and looks very nice, so sure. Perhaps could have showed better though.

No - not sure if full exclusive but either way it was just a weird looking indie game that didn't show well. Was a low point of the show.
15.) Godfall
Yes this should have been there but the showing was awful.
16.) Solar Ash
Yes/ maybe. Looks fun and its a timed console exclusive, next gen only. Doesn't really show off next gen though.
17.)  Hitman III
Yes - its cross gen and not exclusive but its a fun third party game to announce and mix it up
18.)  Astrobot
100% yes and I loved the trailer. However should have made it clear in the show its pre-installed free for everyone.
19.) Little Devil Inside
No - weird looking indie game that was already announced and is cross gen. 100% doesn't belong at a console reveal
20.) NBA 2k21
Maybe - I guess there's always gotta be some kind of sports game being shown off for those who like it, but I'd prefer these weren't here

No - fun looking game from Octodad guys but the graphics look almost PS3 level, its cross gen and doesn't show off a console.

Hell yes, this is perfect for a console reveal. Could have done with a longer trailer though.
23.) Deathloop
No - it looks awesome but it was already announced, cross gen and on xbox. Shouldn't have been there.
24.) Resident Evil VIII: Village
100% yes, its not exclusive but next gen only and its a big announcement to generate excitement.

No - looks interesting but its on xbox, PC and is so so far away. Gained nothing by showing this here.

Well yes this was executed amazingly and the console is sexy as hell.

Gone for another angle of whether these games should have been at a reveal show or not.

I thought 17/27 segments should have been there, it definitely felt like there were ~10 games in the middle which just shouldn't have been there when watching. The kind of games that would make for a fun middle section in a normal 90 min E3 conference but absolutely don't belong in a 70 min console reveal which should be all about exclusives and next gen wowing.

Remove those 10 games or put them into a smaller montage and add extended gameplay for Horizon 2 and a longer Demon's Souls trailer and this would have been a 10/10 reveal. The amount of full exclusives announced is genuinely unbelievable and most of them look awesome. They just needed more space to breathe. Perhaps the August show will go more in depth here.
