I mean that's what Imran Khan posted before the event. Apparently Sony went on a shopping spree to ensure a really strong first year (which is in line with their plan to make this their fastest transition ever).


I'm really interested how the launch timing for many of these games will look like, I think they are being very deliberately quiet about that for a lot these games right now. I still that R&C, GT7, Horizon and Demon's Souls are launch or launch window games.

Console looks amazing on its side.

I am so hyped for PS5. So many full exclusives that all look great and the generational leap is going to be so clear. Can't wait.

Switching to a 7/10. They did a good job selling software but a poor job selling hardware.

There was no 10 minute long gameplay demo. Like killzone shadow fall.

But there were so many games. It's crazy how much they were.

What launch titles do we know of so far? Godfall and spiderman. Are there more? I mean exclusives

No clue when games are releasing.

GTAV is late 2021 though  :P

They sold me on the hardware by announcing at least 4 exclusives I know I can't miss, so I have to get it. I'm sure down the line they'll sell it more with in depth videos on the UI, load time improvements etc. but this was a fast paced games show so it wasn't the place. 8/10 for me, they hooked us but need to follow up in not too long, another show with longer gameplay demos and videos showing the console and selling the hardware dropped now and then are needed next.

I didn't need ui talk. Just more of a focus on what makes PS5 special.

your opinions are my opinions:
 - rachet and clank is a system seller for me.
 - spiderman miles morales, horizon forbidden west, demon's souls are must buys for me.
 - i have interest in learning more about pragmata, sackboy adventures, stray 
 - and even though these are clearly multi-plats and possibly even cross gen,.. kena and little devil inside both really have my hooked.




as far as the show goes, the contents were great.   but the show didn't have the drama that we had when Horizon ZD or GoW were first announced.   those both had those long 10 minutes of gameplay sections that were amazing.   now to be fair,.. horizon was a new IP back then and GoW was a complete reboot so showing off the gameplay was really break taking in both cases.   

this show had a pretty long gameplay section for GT7.   it's just it plays exactly how you'd expect a GT game to play so it didn't leave a lasting impression.   As I look through the list of games announced i don't think any game can hit tha particular note,..  so to a certain extent what this show is missing is a huge AAA new IP.




and yes, i want more in-depth gameplay videos for pretty much every game announced.   sony can really milk this show for a long time if they can do a new in-depth analysis every 3-5 days for all 25 games announced today.   and yes,.. i really want to see the OS.  i really want to see VR.  those are clearly better suited as part of a different show.  this show showed games which is the best way they could have lead their ps5 announcements.   i really like the line right at the beginning "we are going to let the games do the talking".

- sony will announce a studio acquisition as part of a game announcement  WRONG


I believe that meand i've achived "insider" status...
