Wow. Not the typical tech demo either. This could be Tomb Raider or uncharted.

yeah, this was waaay better than the demo last gen.  last gen looks like a great demo.  this looked like a great game.

The part where she jumped off the cliff looked "next gen" to me too.  you can really see that SSD at work empowering such fast movements on such highly detailed environments.

I cant believe I decided to sleep through this

Now get sucker punch to make a new infamous game with more fast flying powers or Horizon to have flying machines with the SSD.  My god i can't wait.

Days Gone 2 is going to look frickin good.  The first already looked amazing so i can't even imagine this amount of detail in an open world

Done by 24 people over 7 months.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Someone thought they said 2,000 people instead of two dozen. &nbsp; <img src="https://vizioneck.com/forum/Smileys/alienine/grin.png" alt=";D" title="Grin" class="smiley"> <br>

Demo runs at 1440p@30. But it does not use RT hardware. So very likely if it were offloading the lighting, it would be running faster.
But on the other hand, digital foundry basically said some of the tech make pixel counting feel pointless.

And apparently Windows Central tweeted that the XSX will be able to do better, and supposedly deleted it after Epic said it wouldn't be possible without the advancements that PS5 made.  In particular the SSD is a game changer.

I'm not sure if they actually deleted it due to Epic.

Yeah I want a deep dive into their lighting solution. Didn't look raytraced to me since the specular highlights in the cave looked like they were a bit off, but maybe I'm wrong.

Supposedly a Chinese Engineer said their laptop can run the demo at 1440p40.

Sweeney is incredibly dismissive of it:.
