No lawsuit and the trees were stolen. This is more about an indie game having troubled development vs Tequila Works doing anything wrong.

This resetera thread was a mess, and I didn't even like Rime lol.

are they actually stolen or just similar?  they don't look identical to me.   sure they look similar but they are trees,.. they are bound to look like,.. ..  ... trees.

Different textures, but a poster found that they had almost identical polygons.

As Pi said, they are the same mesh down to the millimeter.

Some updates over at the thread. Other devs have chimed in and the Kumo dev did an interview. Wanted to dmca the resetera thread.
