i wish amazon would update my delivery estimate.  I would think with just about a week left it should be by now.  Hopefully in a few days.  If its gonna ship for release day it will likely ship by tuesday/wednesday

My xbox series x still hasn't updated. Once that happens, PS5 can't be far behind.

yeah when i did ps4 mine was release day delivery with 2-day shipping


also i cancelled my Series X.  Just figured i'd play the ps5 the most right now anyway and will grab a series x down the line sometime next year.

i don't know how you guys can continue a discussion about video games right now.   maybe it's just my depression but i just can't even a flying fudge about playstation today.  the world is in the balance and could be dead by the end of the day...

honestly i'm in the US and i don't even give a flying fudge.  Both candidates suck dog, but just so happens Biden isn't as bad.   World will go on either way.

This video sold me on Dirt 5 for PS5 launch. Its thankfully normal price here (£45) so I don't have the debate over whether its worth a ridiculous extra £25 like I do for other launch games. I really wanna use the dualsense for a racing game that's optimised for it, that's one of the top things I'm hyped for with next gen. Can't wait.

Yep, one reason I've been really wanting it but I had reservations and waited for reviews. It sounds a bit more arcadey than Driveclub and I prefer Tarmac racing to offroad but its good enough for me, especially as an early next gen title.

From review thread, PS5 has quick resume confirmed by metro.

Like the Xbox Series X, the PlayStation 5 is also able to quick resume a game if you turn it off and come back to it later. Although the Switcher icon that some noticed on the Home menu is basically just a history button, showing you the last few games or apps that you used and starting them up from scratch if you want to play them again.

Edit: could just be one game from this wording though, so would be same as PS4.

Really impressed with PS5 BC from the DF video

Now devs just need to patch their games to 4k60fps. Problem is that the Ps4 Pro had performance modes in many games where the res was usually 1080p with unlocked framerate, or 4k checkerboard with 30fps locked. PS5 can't unlock the framerate or increase the res
