Do you buy the dough?
No, but I use a bread maker at least for the kneading.

Will there be an update here?

Decided to make bread today.  Almost done.  Didn't rise too well, but it smells amazing.

Good, I don't want the journey to end.

Hmm this recipe might sound weird but trust me it is a thing of beauty...

Ingredients:
Mango
Grilled red peppers (Or w.e color you want I just like red best it seems the sweetest to me when you grill it)
Grilled corn
Red onion
Olive Oil
Vinger (Balsamic or white wine up to you)
Salt/pepper

Yeah so you grill some corn and red bell pepper on the bbq or wherever you do your grilling. Take the skin off the red pepper once it's cooled if you don't like it, I personally don't mind it either way. Take the corn off the cob and then slice the red pepper into thin strips and place both in a salad bowl or whatever type of bowl you have. Peel a mango and dice it, add that to the red pepper and corn mix and do the same for the red onion. You don't need to add onion if you don't like it but I just like the nice balance of hotness the onion gives with the sweet of the corn/mango/red pepper.

If you like it a little bit more spicy then use a yellow or white onion because they are much hotter. You can grill the onions if you like but I find that by grilling the onion it sort of loses that hot/spicy flavor and it becomes sweet. Then the whole salad is just pure sweetness and has no flavor balance.

Once you have all four of those in a bowl add olive oil and balsmic (or white wine) vinegar to add a bit of acidity. You can replace the vinegar with a lemon or lime if you don't like vinegar. At the end add salt and pepper to taste, mix it all up and enjoy.

I know the ingredients sound weird if you add them together, that's what my parents told me when I came up with the recipe but after I made it they really enjoyed it and we always seem to make it whenever we have a bbq.
Legend made me remove this. Everybody riot.

Sounds good, but I'd never consider onions as hot/spicy hahaha

I used to hate onions as a kid, but I'm liking them a lot more nowadays. I love sautéing some onions so that they become sweet and then adding them to a burger. Plus some avocado = heaven.

Oh and I almost forgot the bacon and melted cheese. Have you ever had Havarti cheese? I love it a lot.

I love onions.

It's avocado I don't really fancy.

@Legend

You do realize "Alfredo sauce" is a fancy way to refer to cream right?

I love making a cream / butter sauce from scratch. always tastes amazing... melt butter with some minced garlic and onions to saute then once the butter is melted add some flower to thicken it after that add cream... add spice / seasonings to flavor
you can also add some white wine to the mix for a more tangy flavor

Quote from: Legend on Aug 26, 2014, 03:57 PMToday I made spicy fettuccine alfredo. It's super simple so it works great as a starting lesson.

no cream, not an alfredo.  sorry bro,.. don't hate me for being right.

"Fettuccine Alfredo is a pasta dish made from fettuccine tossed with Parmesan cheese and butter. As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich coating on the pasta. The term is a synonym for pasta with butter and Parmesan cheese (Italian: pasta al burro e parmigiano), one of the oldest and simplest ways to prepare pasta. The dish was named by Alfredo Di Lelio I, a restaurateur who opened and operated restaurants in Rome, Italy, throughout the early to mid 20th century.[1]"

Don't hate on me for being right ;)
