When there is more than one page. I have 50 posts per page and latest posts at the top, whenever I click on a linked post it just takes me to the top of a random page

That's because you have "Show most recent posts at the top." checkmarked.

I know but that's an option I can choose so it shouldn't bug out the post link system

Under my profile have a mention, the drop down menu doesn't work on mobile and theres no link in my profile to view them.

In live view the latest posts still go to the top due to my settings but I'm typing at the bottom, it means I'd have to keep scrolling and it defeats the purpose

If you had your settings correct this wouldn't be an issue.
