Ps4 + dying light + TLOU  for 429

is that by amazon? or sony?

could this be a sign of some sort of similar bundle for the order and bloodborne?

maybe the order/bloodborne with the TLoU for 429?

or maybe the order and bloodborne for 450?

i wouldnt be surprise if TLOU stays as a throw in game for a bit, and we see alot more bundles with new game releases.   Probably the same thing just replace dying light with the order,  then bloodborne  and go from there.

they already made a huge profit out of it, so why not. i believe they are making TLoU2 after this move. pushing the game as much as possible to new users, i wonder if they will do the same in EU. i bet they are trying to make this game into pop culture in way like halo and mario are.

yup,  they are trying to add to its exposure.  sure the gaming world knows it, but it introduces anyone new to the scene.  and with the movie in the works, its basically extra marketing.

add to that its moving PS4's. this game is probably gonna be the most successful new IP in sony's history. it already beat uncharted: drakes fortune easily. it moved long past GoW. its between this and Gran Turismo now.

All Ms did by making it seem the sales were temporary was push the sales it would have gotten sooner rather than later up. Not a bad strategy for short term. However, long term its obvious price wasnt really the factor. They have increased sales by the drop but probably only from the people already interested in it at a later date (which wasn't that much)

i agree.  marketing the price drop as a temporary holiday sale gave the $350 price tag a sense of urgency.  i believe the sales increase was at least as much from people that got their xbox sooner than they planned as it was from swaying sales from ps4 to xbox.  xbox will pay the price this spring as much of their demand has already bought an xbox and no longer needs one.

Well, Xenoblade 3D just shot to the top of Amazon Japan with the announcement that first day buyers get the soundtrack. Xenoblade X also moved back into the top 20.

for some reason nintendo games/content usually do well on amazon, more so than how its reflected in the rest of the market.

Amazon Japan is usually fairly accurate. Can't speak for the rest though.

Nintendo games do well on Amazon UK? I rarely ever see N-games on there. Usually just US and JP.

And speaking of, that Mario Kart bundle is really attracting people. I think amazon did wonders when they said the mario amiibo will be exclusive to the bundle. Though I don't think it's true, it sure is raking in sales for Amazon.
