haha i just got an email from amazon.ca  "check out the tope video games"   ps4 was #2,   xb1 wasnt even on the list lol

Not sure if I mentioned this here, but when I went to Futureshop to pick up my Batman 66 LE, they had maybe 1-2 hundred Unity Xbox One bundles.  They sold one, as I went to get my Batman.  Needless to say, there was still 200 stacked up with only one missing.

What is going on at amazon? No bundles and the normal SkU is out of the top 20. I understand everyone want to bundle but would the drop be so bad because of it?

The Wii U has been competitive with the X1 in the past. Plus, Smash Bros just came out and that franchise is always a big deal. A Wii U with Super Mario 3D World (an awesome game) for $300 and then picking up Smash Bros for a total of $360? That may be a more attractive option for people than a $350 X1 with a bad AC game and the better one from last year. The GTA/TLOU bundle is selling out. We've already seen how Amazon can't keep it in stock. So it's only natural that the places that do carry it would see an increase in their own sales of it. If Amazon doesn't have it to purchase online then obviously those looking to buy it online would go to websites like Gamestop.

I hope it's true, because if we're going by amazon right now the month looks bad, which i really can't see the ps4 doing stellar all year then suddenly falling flat after the biggest shopping week of the year.

Not many people are going to be willingly buying a PS4 by itself for $400 when they can get it somewhere else for the same price but with two of the best games in recent memory for free. I wouldn't concern yourself with holiday performance. We know the PS4 is selling. "Falling flat" is far from what's happening with it. It's just getting some stiff competition from competitors currently charging less for their console. You also have to remember that this battle is really only happening in the US and the UK to a lesser extent from what I've heard. Next year starts the barrage of PS4 exclusives and you can probably bet on a price drop. Considering its strength everywhere else in the world it's really not worth worrying over how it stacks up here for one or two months.
