Well people on Era saying Christmas Eve being week 52 might be the reason, but SW still soared this week, so lots more sales were still happening. That just didn't translate to HW for whatever reason. And historical data shows us 3DS still had a big increased last time the days lined up like this, in 2012.

Plus, isn't New Years a bigger thing in Japan too? Perhaps we're also seeing a more general shift towards week 52 for shopping, a bit like the shift to BF week in the US? I guess we'll see next week.

I guess we can talk about how rediculous those smash Bros sales are though. My prediction is since New Years tends to focus on the teen/ young adult impact, Smash Bros will help switch have a much stronger New Years week. Could happen pen be completely wrong but that is my prediction.

2M in 3 weeks, nuts! Can't wait for Nintendo to announce WW sales as well.

DQB2 performance seems okay, nowhere near the first but it is more expensive.

Well with numbers from UK and US it's up pretty high there.

I hope we get the usual sales PR from Sony in early Jan. Want to see where PS4 is up to WW now. I think 91M+ would be a good amount. That would be 17.4M+ for the year. 92M or higher would be excellent.

Also hope we get an update from Nintendo, but I expect we'll have to wait for financials.

Crazy to think ps4 will become the second best selling system ever next year. We all predicted it but it'll soon be a reality.
